What do you get when you pair the 10th Anniversary of the world’s most over-the-top art fair and the world’s most entrepreneurial fashion designer? One unforgettable evening. And since we’re talking about Miami Beach, it had to be poolside of course.
On December 4th, Miami Beach Art Basel celebrated its 10th year of presenting outrageous, courageous work, showcasing the art world’s new and established talents and throwing the kinds of parties that have people clamouring for invitations. And who better to host one of those parties than Emporio Armani, who teamed up with Milan’s young, top tier gallerist, Nicolo Cardi of Cardi Black Box Gallery for a glamorous poolside party at the W Hotel, alongside celebrities and collectors, artists and socialites?
The international guests included Adrian Brody, Lady Victoria Harvey, Barbara Berlusconi, Linda Vojtova, Nicky Hilton, Damien Hirst, Ana Beatriz Barros, Marco Perego and Vladimir Restoin Roitfeld.
Mr. Armani has been a longtime supporter of the arts, with recent initiatives including the curating and overseeing of a photo exhibition during Paris Photo with the Tate Modern of London, ICP of New York and Elysee Museum of Lausanne.
