BAFTA Awards 2012

We continue our streak of red carpet coverage by showing you the nominees and attendees for the 2012 British Academy Film Awards at the Royal Opera House in London.

Penelope Cruz dazzled in a Giorgio Armani Privé dress in a garnet colour made from silk cady.

Leading Actor nominee Michael Fassbender and actor Colin Firth both wore Giorgio Armani Made to Measure suits created in line with the Green Carpet Challenge project. The fabric of their suits was a fine wool and cachemire produced in line with all criteria of the GCC project, following a rigorous code of ethics that protects the environment and discourages the employment of children.

Michael Fassbender chose to wear a Giorgio Armani Made to Measure black suit. The suit consisted of a two button jacket with notch lapel and flap pockets, a five button vest and flat front trousers.  He paired the suit with a Giorgio Armani white slim fit classic collar shirt and black seven fold tie.

Colin Firth attended the awards wearing a Giorgio Armani Made to Measure black tuxedo, consisting of a black stain one button peak lapel jacket with covered buttons and flat front trousers with details in black satin accompanied by a white slim fit shirt with wing-tip collar and bow tie and cummerbund both black satin.

George Clooney, nominated for ‘Leading Actor’ in his new movie ‘The Descendants’, wore a classic Giorgio Armani tuxedo.

Martin Scorsese, nominated for ‘Best Director’ for ‘Hugo’, wore a Giorgio Armani midnight blue classic tuxedo.

Tom Hiddleston ‘Orange Wednesdays Rising Star’ nominee chose to wear a Giorgio Armani tuxedo.

Alexandra Lamy also chose to wear a Giorgio Armani long black dress from the Autumn/Winter 2012 collection.

All and all it made for a beautiful night.
